Dining

Barefoot Café & Pizza

We use local suppliers and fresh local produce when available, our food is cooked with love and where possible we try to cater for all taste buds and dietary requests. Sometimes our location in the middle of a National Park makes things a little challenging for the team here but we always do our best.

With endless views over the Myall Lakes and Broadwater, you won’t find a more memorable spot for a dining experience. Let us do the work for you just like the original founders Harry & Emily Legge did back in 1906, Barefoot gets its name from Harrys and Garry’s dislike of shoes.

Coffee, cakes and all day gourmet pizzas are available from 10am , and dinner from 5.00pm – 6.00pm Sunday to Thursday; Friday & Saturday 5.00pm – 7.00 pm, we serve our famous fish and chips and pizzas – eat in and take away.

Here’s a sample of our lunch menu:

  • barefootFish and Chips
  • Bucket of squid
  • Soup of the day
  • Bowl of chips
  • The Bomb Pizza – a whole chicken parma sliced and spread across your pizza, with onions, capsicum and BBQ sauce
  • Margarita Pizza – herbed tomato sauce, cherry tomatoes, fresh basil and parmesan cheese
  • Little Matey Platters for the kids.

We’re open 7 days a week during summer, and most days during winter. Operating times can change, so please check with reception or make a booking to avoid disappointment.
